pq16, great pics, can't believe the transformation from the building site that I spent 2 weeks watching.
Should complete the holiday experience for any families with young kids.
enjoy!
I have posted previously about not letting inflatables in the pool, well as most kids are in the play area they seem to have relaxed this rule upto the bridge which is plenty large enough and is much more sensible.
The new play area/slides really are the icing on a fantastic cake!
Hi Simdav . Good to hear you had a great holiday.
Hi all, Just a quick note to say that parque santiago have had there website re deisgned and its now showing a lot more information including the new childrens area .
I was at World Travel Market last week and picked up a DVD about PS3,4,5. It is excellent, a brilliant marketing tool with lots of information about the complexes, the island and generally
Myself and friend (24) are thinking of staying in this complex at the end of April and just wanted some opinions really. Do you think that it suits people of our age? Is it far if we want to go into centre of las americas? Does anyone know of any private rentals for 1 bedroom apartment? I have looked in the obvious places but can't find any nicer ones.
Thanks
Until members post with their views on the apartments perhaps you would like to read some reviews that have been given

Only other apartment of similar quality i'd recommend would be the Colon II which are based in las Americas (about 5 min walk from Starcos area) but these are only bookable through thomsons http://www.thomsonaccomodation.co.uk sometimes early season you can get a good price on them.

i think there an excellent choice of accomodation location wise. I've stayed at the Parque Sant 2 next to the patch and its the best complex ive ever stayed at and the 3 4 and 5 look even better. There was a lot of families where we stayed but it suited us at the time (couple of years ago) as we just chilled during the day and didnt want any teens running a mock - found it totally chilling during the day and the pool was ace - so i'd even recommend there. All of them are within walking distance of Starcos, veronicas and the patch - even closer are a few good bars like Harrys Cocktail bar and most recently opened Magic bar (you must visit its fab inside) As for booking the pargue San - best bet is to do a google search and youll get loads of private let web sites. I'm looking at Parque Santiago for my holidays - can anyone tell me the differences between III and IV? i understand you can share facilities anyway but what are the differences?
Thanks all!
PS4 is also on the seafront next to PS3 but is not really a family friendly as PS3 and does not have the advantage of the waterslides etc.
PS5 is across the road from PS3 and whilst it looks nice, if you have kids PS3 is the one.
it is only me and my girlfriend going - are the studios in good locations? I'd rather not be overrun with kids (don't mind them around though) so is PS4 better then?
We also don't really want all the hassle and insecurity of a non-packade deal so any advice please?
Many thanks
Secondly, the new gym looks fantastic and seems to get used alot, the childrens water park keeps the children enterained and looks good, they are also working under the gym area now and not to sue if there putting an other bar in there , but what i can tell you is if your familier with santiago 3 and know where they make the ice cream under the lanzarote block they are now buolding indoor football and basket ball court, and also a spa , so should be nice when its all finished
Kirk
PS3 is great for everyone and especially kids.
PS4 is probably best for couples as less kids
PS5 is okay for couples also and has quite a few families there.
I would still plum for PS3 though as it has everything for everyone!
Why oh why didn't I just book it? I wasn't hoping it would go down, I was happy with that price, but I have 2 summer holidays to pay for first, so I was just waiting until I'd paid them off and now it looks like I'm too late
Sorry, just needed a rant! lol
I dont know if anyone has noticed but santiago 3 & 4 now have webcams installed. It looks superb... brings back many memories of september 05.
absolutley brill!
the kids play area is great and the life guards are really interactive with the kids.
just done up the heated pool, cleaned and painted and is now back on track. it looks like they may be doing a kids indoor play area underneath the gym should be good!
apartment was OK ! think these could do with a bit of an upgrade now.
we were in a ground floor studio and had a meeting of cockroaches outside of the door each night so we couldnt sit out on the terrace. at least 2 a night used to get through the bathroom somehow so maybe a bit of blocking holes and redoing paint work might help??
all in all will be back next year deffo !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
am just asking any tenerife regulars whereabouts these apartments are??have been looking into booking a week in january and a group of us for two weeks in september,up to now had decided on laguna park 1 because of the location.
have visited tenerife last time around 7-8 years ago, stayed at the santa maria apartments then and would ideally like to be in similar area as i enjoyed it alot,so parque santiago 3......whereabouts?????
cheers
these apartments are next to the marie nostrum resort. its at the "first part" of las americas as you come from los cristianos.
in my opinion, the area is great, with great shopping, bars and restaurants and very close to las vistas beach. we're off to that area again in august, 3rd year running! please follow link to tenerife maps.
regards

i cant make my mind up between PS3 or laguna park 1 now!!!!!
laguna seems to be in the area i want, last time we went we mainly drank and ate around the san eugene area.........
the area around PS3,you say its good?im particularly keen to avoid being anywhere near the veronicas area,i felt too old for that when i was 23!!!!i know i can get a taxi to san eugen/costa adeje area but its nice to be around a decent area, would you say the bars around las vistas beach are more suited to the 'early 30s' brigade!!!!!
