Hi Matt,I have never heard of them, they dont advertise anything on their website saying that they are ABTA registered or affiliated with any travel organisation as far as I can see.I do note that they accept credit card payments and this may be the best way of paying if your total is over £100 as you are protected with your credit card company if they dont provide what you have paid for, but they do charge 2% on top of the total costs for this facility. Maybe other HT members who may have used them could comment. Cheers Jayjan

Whilst good prices online can be had, just be careful as I found out for myself.

I'm thinking of next year early july of going on holiday just me and my girlfriend here are the places we are considering, however its the first time going abroad before.

Cyprus
Malta
Portugal
Spain
One of the baelarics

We are looking online as we are on a tight budget with college and driving lesson etc.

Can someone please recommend one of the above places and one of the websites above to book with, at the moment i'm swaying towards cyprus!

ive used findmeaccom, somewhere2stay,octopus, and freedomdirect for accommodation and all have been fine, someone i know has used quickrooms a lot too and they are ok.. have you considered turkey, fab place, great weather and scenery lovely people

Yes I have but my girlfriend is iffy with turkey, I would love to go to a hotel in Olu Deniz near the blue lagoon but I don't think she is much for turkey.

Have a look at Travel Republic - I have used them and so have a lot of people on here.

olu deniz is beautiful we got married there, turkey is one of the best countries ive been to and thats out of nearly 30, i highly recommend it, we have 4 hols booked to go there and are going on mon for the first one , we go around 4-5 times a year

What is cyprus like for first time holiday? I'm really liking the fact that I can get a double room in a good hotel in cyprus for about £250 for a week at the beginning of july. Then just sort out the flights, what is it like there?

we visited cyprus a few years ago , we enjoyed it but found it very expensive to eat and drink out compared to turkey, just depends what sort of things you want to do, flights to cyprus are usually dearer too, so if money is no object then cyprus is fine

Money is a key thing in this matter, were looking to keep flights plus accomadation to under £400, so sound like cyprus might not be a good choice and i'm guessing this applies to malta aswell?

I know it may seem i'm being pretty vague but I would like somewhere with:

-Really nice beaches (thats why i liked the look of Olu Deniz, blue lagoon looks breath taking)

-Could maybe try out some first time water sports/diving

-Has some nice restaraunts/lounge type bars not really night clubs

-Is quite an inexpensive holiday

-Safe airports

go to fuerteventura collerajo they have a lush beach and the airport is gaurded with armed police and security its a good airport and they are fast and speedy when your getting of your plane and through security your luggage is on its way to you now thats what i call a fab system hope you find somewhere

guess ill have to order some brochures and look where looks good?
