We can get decent priced flights to Pula and are looking for self catering accomodation within an hour or so of the airport but will go further if necessary. Two adults and two kids. Any websites would be useful. Cheers

You should be able to get to most of the Istrian Peninsula within an hour now with the new roads that have been built. If you wanted to go a bit further afield, you would take about 1 1/2 hours to drive to Krk Island, which is beautiful. Try

Weird how I'm back here asking the same questions again. Hoping to return to Croatia this year but may well want to try the Dubrovnik area this time round.
