We are going to Tunisia for half term which in Wales starts w/c 29th October. Has anyone been recently as the weather does not look good next week at all and I am not very happy. We are staying in the Hotel Thalassa Monastir - is there anything to do when it rains ???

It doesn't look too bad to me Sally - check out the link below which is usually fairly accurate. I was in Sousse last week and we had quite a few magnificent storms, but it was still quite warm.
I've had a look for your hotel on the map but couldn't find it so I don't know exactly where it is, but I'm sure you will find plenty to keep you occupied. Try and visit the Mausoleum of Habib Bourgiba (their previous President) in Monastir whilst you are there - not at all gloomy but absolutely beautiful, and you are usually allowed inside, though not always.
