We are seriously thinking about a trip to either Malta and/or Gozo Aug 2008.
We do prefer to self cater and would love to try a private villa with own pool, or in a apartment but NOT on a big rowdy complex (sorry but it's just not for us).
Can anyone recommend anything or anywhere.
Our kids want to go on a yellow bus (not sure why)

Hello theenchanted1, For our first visit we did a two centre holiday one week in Gozo and one week in Malta, although we did stay in hotels.
Gozo has lots of private villa's but no Yellow busses, they are as old but Grey with a red line down the side. one way round this is to get on the Gozo/Malta ferry and once in Malta you can then get a Yellow one say to Valetta.
Try Google and put in Gozo farmhouses don't know the proper site address. Also you don't say how old your kids are or what they like to do on holiday as this lets us know were would be best in the way of resorts.
