we went to new orleans,a couple of years ago.a must do is obviously bourbon st,this is definately an experience,not to be missed.also go to the french quarter,this is a great place to visit.also a trip along the mississippi,on the paddle boat sanchez,just hope it survived,the devastation of a few years ago.
i think the best tips you will pick up,will be by reading fionas trip report,as she does great reports & went to new orleans,a couple of years ago.
if fiona sees this,she will post a link,to her report,i am sure.
