Just been reading a review about this-it sounds horrendous!

My old dad and his lady friend are going over Christmas, is it really as bad as the comments? Has anyone been this year?
They went to the hotel 9 years ago and loved it. I daren't tell him whats been said on here (fleas, broken toilet seats, crap meals)
