Yes, the weather certainly improved after the first week. We swam every day and didn't even need a jacket in the evenings. Hope you enjoyed as much as I did Ninkynonk.

Reminds me of my first summer working in Rhodes - only one of my cases turned up and it was the one with my typewriter, briefcase, etc. NO CLOTHES! Fortunately it turned up a couple of days later.

Glad to hear you had a great time, Rhodes was a fab as ever but the weather was a bit iffy in the middle of our stay. Warmed up towards the end and I'm still a bit prickly from lack of suncream on the last day (schoolboy error, I know), and I keep getting Filerimos flashbacks as I don't do heights. Any news on the case? It will probably arrive just in time for the weekend so you will have loads of washing to look forward to. I'm still knee-deep in it as there are 4 of us!

Simon Calder - well i'd certainly love his job but unfortunately not! My suitcase full of paperwork, briefcase, etc is not from such a glamorous role, i worked for Airtours in my first year and a car hire company the 2nd. Anyway, glad you had a good time

Wow Marcus, what a good idea. I could happily stay over there. Anyway, good news, my suitcase has reached Cardiff but as I live in rural Mid-Wales they can't guarantee how soon they can get it to me.Hopefully I will be re-united with it early next week.
