I think I'll print this off and show it to the barber I use when I'm over there. He sure charges a hell of a lot more than that!!

On second thoughts, offending a guy who has a razor at your neck may not be the smartest move.

I currently pay 10Rs/- for a shave, it's taken me ages to find somewhere that wouldn't rip me off because of my pain complexion... To bring the price down ask for a local shave, they tend to use gillette gel etc for the 'foriegners' as an excuse to put the price up. So if you ask for the local cream (which is just as good in my opinion) then you should get it a bit cheaper at least... ' You could also say that you know what the standard rate is (15) and say you'll pay double (30)... - wort a try... I have them trying to get 50 or 100 out of me in Calangute - which I won't pay just out of princible....

Cheapest haircut I have had is Rs40, dearest Rs100!!!
