I would not normally post something sad but Joseph who worked at Almas in Candolim for years died last December. We were there Nov/Dec and he looked fine although a little worst for wear one day. I would just like to say Alma looked after Joseph for years and all gratitude to her and her family

We heard the very sad news about Joseph a few months ago. We last saw him at Almas last November and he seemed OK, although he had lost a lot of weight. We are off again to Goa on Saturday and Almas just won't be the same without him. We first met him on the beach 15 years ago when he had a few sunbeds and a small shack, he was quite a character and we will miss him.

Your right he was a character and so funny we will miss seeing him this year we go this evening. Will pop up to Almas as have got to order my sister a taxi from there to pick her up in December, shes very choosy who picks her up from the airport..
