Can`t wait to get back on Vagator beach now 8) great pics Aj, what did you think of the food at the Mano tree ? everything I had there was cooked to perfection, Steve the owner is very particular with his staff and his lads are great at what they do.

Gemma, Elliebee, FTV - Glad you liked the pics... Vagator was simply beautiful... Guess what, I am going back to Vagator again at the end of this month (I am in the south of India at the moment) and to Colva for a couple of days, a week in total. I heard that Ingos Saturday night market has opened.... not sure about the Oceanic in Baga yet.

Food at the Mango Tree was good, although I only had snacks and drinks there... the hotel by the sea is the Alcove (Review of this hotel is in HT) in Vagator (next to 9-Bar) where we spent a lot of time there lunch and dinner as it was easy to get down the stairs to the beach from the cliff top restaurant.

14 more sleeps... :glynis :pele

Its getting busy in India as we are getting closer to Christmas and New year. Could not get train tickets in the direct train to Goa from the south of India - so booked a different train upto Belgaum in Karnataka and will have to hire a car from there to Vagator.

Vagator is also getting busy since I spoke with the manager of Sea View Apartments opp to the Mango Tree. Groups of yoga enthus have landed and booked the entire apartment. Could not find accomodation in the apartment where I stayed in the first week of November or in Alcove - so had to book a bit further away from the Mango Tree in Pushpa's Palm Groove; not bad as it is not far from Chapora Village.

Anywhere out there at the end of this month.... ?

BTW, passed on the message for Andy to Steve when I was there last time that Andy would be in Goa in March 2008.

Goaaaa, here I come..... :sun :pele

Tango - The pics were taken at Alcove, their website is http://www.alcovegoa.com/ . Check out the HT hotel review for the same. I called them last night to book for the first week of December - but they are full - so had to book in Pushpa's Palm Groove on Vagator Beach Road.

FTV, agreed.... Vagator bug is on....
