I know there was a similar thread about rupees and someone mentioned how the notes change from time to time. I brought some home 2 years ago and was going to use them to pay for the taxi when I get there in December. They havn't changed in the last 2 years have they ?

Sim you will be ok to use them. I took some with me last year that my father in law gave me and he was there in the late 80's. Had no problem spending them.
