We are staying in Fuengirola from 11th Dec and would like to travel to Toledo - we are willing to book a trip but are also wondering if this can be done by the local rail service - and would we need to book an overnight in a hotel - any info on this would be gratefully rec'd

Toledo is near Madrid, about 400 miles from Fuengirola. A bit like holidaying in Brighton and popping off to Edinburgh for a trip.
