I would not worry at all , my friend has just come back and the building work is not a problem at all, only handtools etc

Didnt see any kind of building work at all. Wonder whereabouts in Arpora it is? Anyway wouldnt put me off. Marinha Dourada is not a noisy hotel and after midnight guests seems to respect the wishes of other residents who want a good night sleep and the whole place is silent! Cant say I heard any noise in the morning either.

Could it be the building work they were doing last year, at the back of the furthest block ?

Possibly Chriss but I didnt venture over to the annexe side this time. Nearest I got was the area at the lakes were they hold their theme nights.
During the day tho never saw any disruption or heard any noise.

stayed at md dec/jan in annexe part ,building work going on but did not bother us,not bad at all.

Stayed last December and had a room backing on to the building work and it didn't disturb us, they start at about 8am but if you keep the bathroom door shut you don't hear them.

Going back this year and have requested an annex room again. Certainly don't cancel your holiday on the back of this.

Thanx everyone, no intention of cancelling,can't wait only 12 days to go, i've just been and collected our tickets Gemma did you see the childrens playground they are advertising, if so what does it consist of as it says the only one of its kind in Goa,really curious
