can you help me on the other bits i asked?

we havent been to crete for a couple of years but the last two visits were in october..some days were verry warm but the evnings can cool off quite quickly also expect a day and a half of rain per week in october [so far the worse we had was an all night thunder storm which cleard about 10 am then got verry warm again] and take the old mozzi repelent if you are prone to attack having said all this i would sometime in the future go back again in october
A few reviews on here.
Stopped at the triandafillo 4.5 years ago, rooms are fairly small and basic but were very clean, only drawback we were at the front over the shop that's not a problem but scooters and quad bike noise from the road can be bad.People staying further back didn't have same problem. We went with virgin and the rep was a right a**e awful bloke.Changing facilities are poor as well if you have a late flight.Great position for everything though 5 mins left and you're into the heart of Stalis turn right 15 mins and you're in Malia.Prices 2 sunbeds and umbrella 6 euros, meal for 2 with starters and bottle of wine around 35 euro, beer large between 2,3 euro, full english breakfast around 4.5 euro.Hope that answers some questions for you if you need to know anything else I'll help if I can.
Rick.
My son and his girlfriend returned the following year Sept 2006 I think the middle of the month the weather was mainly hot and sunny with one cloudier day that was cooler and it rained a little. They came back with lovely tans and said they still wore t shirts etc at night.
Sorry I've not heard of the apartments you're staying at.
The food and drink was good and varied with plenty of good value places to eat and drink, money wasn't really an issue, it was cheaper than U.K.
Dwyers beach bar was great really cheap for sunbeds and parasols with free lunch thrown in, excellent value!
You will have a great time I'm sure!
I have also booked a week in september (the last week) at the triandafillo. Looks great, good location etc but I haven't found much on it either. So im taking it as no news as good news lol. When people have a good experience there less likely to write about it then when they've had a bad experience. But will you let me know (You probably wont remember) when ur back from stalis, what it was like the appts and the resort, and what u reccomend. I am going with 3 girl friends. But Were young but just want a lazy holiday maybe the odd night out in malia. But I hope u have a great time and let me know if u read ne more about triandafillo.
Charley
