Can't say I'm an expert on Corfu although, having been there twice I can honestly say that I love the place. Going on my limited experience (I'm sure I'll be corrected if I'm wrong), the resorts with the liveliest "nightlife" tend to be more "British" than Greek e.g. Kavos (18-30 style), Sidari etc. It all depends what you're after. I'm in my forties and hubby and I stayed for a week in Kassiopi 2 years ago which has definitely kept it's Greek character. It's grown from a little Greek fishing village and to me it had the combination of beautiful Greek tavernas/restaurants and a couple of English type bars with Karaoke/ quizes and big screens for the footie. It's only downfall for me was the lack of a nice sandy beach. However, you could catch the boat to a number of beaches and also pop over to Corfu Town by boat for a different kind of evening out. Maybe Corfu town would be an ideal destination for your holiday. I think you'd find it worthwhile looking at Kassiopi and Corfu Town on the resort report section of this site.
Hope I've been of some help.
