Sorry, but I have another question, as Salt Lake isn't too far from Vegas I have been looking at airfares and Delta do a direct flight at around 1 hour 25 minutes. Thing is would it be best booking it there in Vegas? Are there many travel agencies and are they in the Downtown area?

I would book ahead if you want to get decent rates. Try Southwest Airlines, http://www.iflyswa.com they have better prices,more reliable and better customer service than Delta.
Is there a reason for going to Salt Lake City? I'm sure it is a nice American city but I would consider spending that time in the beautiful Zion National Park, also in Utah. 
If you do decide to stick with SLC, I would agree with the other poster, Southwest Airlines are a class act and a carrier we used consistently during our 7 weeks in the USA in 2006. Book ahead and get some really good deals.

Salt Lake is lovely, lots there to see and do. The famous Mormon Tabernacle and Park City are a must do
