Tip of the day....

You may have noticed the newly introduced banner when viewing our forums:

The first symbol is for access to our Chat Room which is available to our members with more than 15 posts. The background colour will change to green from red when members are having a chat.

The second symbol is forum dependent and shows the current weather conditions for the forum you're visiting. Some forums have more than one location and these will randomly change each time the forum is visited.

The last icon alllows quick access to the hotel reviews. Depending on the forum visited, you will be directly taken to the respective hotel review section.

Don't forget to use our Holiday Tools which can now be easily accessed through the main navigation menu:

As and when new tools are developed, these will be added to this dedicated page.

If you want to go to a specific page when viewing a forum or topic, you can now click on the

Go to page

link at the bottom right hand corner of the screen (where the page numbers are listed).

Acknowledge the pop-up that may occur (this depends on your browser security settings) and type in the page-number to get to the desired page quickly.

We have now re-introduced the RSS feeds for our main destination forums.

For more information: Click Here

The URL to the feed is shown in the banner on top of each forum. Only those forums that can be read through RSS will have the two RSS icons:

If you want to contact a member of the Admin or Moderator team, you can now quickly get access to their details.

When viewing the index page, click on the "The team" link:

and you will be directed to a page listing all the Administrators and Moderators from where their profiles can be accessed or alternatively a PM can be send:

[attachment=0]Team2.JPG[/attachment]

This facility is only available to members that are logged in.

If applicable, a link to the relevant topic for discussion will be provided.

When you're typing up a reply to a post and another poster has beat you to submitting it, the system will stop the post going through and advise you to read the reply the other member has made just in case you want to revise yours.

Running out of space in your PM account?

The system is basically warning you that the inbox has exceeded its capacity and it is time to do some housekeeping.

This can be done automatically by getting the software to delete your oldest message as soon as a new one arrives (this will only happen once your inbox has reached capacity).

The following illustration shows you how to (the function is available through the UCP):
