Phuket is pretty relaxed...depends on the standard of your hotel but out and about your fine in the casual stuff except perhaps when visiting a temple when you might want to dress a little more conservativly covering shoulders and legs. Very hot in Phuket in Feb - night and day.
Hi, Thanks for that, do you think long linen trousers and a blouse/top would be the best for the cities? I am really nervous about the whole trip.
Bangkok is pretty laid back too. Just wear something that covers knees and shoulders if you are planning on visiting any temples or the Grand Palace. Also have sandals with backs to them. Loose fitting blouses are ideal for coping with humidity.

It may still be quite cool (high teens to low 20s) in Hong Kong in February, especially in the evenings, so you may need a sweater or light jacket to keep warm whilst you're there. Good excuse for shopping though
