When we stayed in salou (admittedly it was 5yrs ago) we stayed at the golden avenida, The hotel and rooms were kept spotless. we had the option of picking days eating half board and we tried it once, the food was lovely but we were more interested in eating out as this was are first holiday abroad. The location was good! It was quiet and about 10 mins stroll from the beach and we had a 4 and 6yr old with us (you know how slowly they can walk) There is a place to eat near by its called the boathouse (turn left out of hotel and about two mins walk at most) the food was lovely and staff too,it was also reasonably priced.
We are going back to salou in june, I rebooked the Avendia and got a good deal but i noticed the next day that i had booked it in the middle of yr 6 SATS so i had to cancel it i was GUTTED!!! I would have loved to go back there. How many of you will be going
There was 5 of us and we had a room facing the road (didnt know any better then but its much nicer with a poolside view) I think you only get poolside if there are 4 of you
We are off to the calypso in june and i cant wait!!!
As i said the Avenida would have been my first choice though.
Any questions i will be happy to answer them ( if i can remember )
