Hi
Can you tell me where the larger supermarkets are in playa blanca. I've read somewhere of a Hippo supermarket, if so can anyone tell me where it is.
Thanks
The Hiperdino you refer to can be found by coming out of Playa Blanca from the town centre, and turning left at the first roundabout. You'll see the new "Estacion de Gua Gua" on the right hand side of the road. Carry on a bit further and you'll see a building on your left with pictures of fruit and veg in the window. That's Hiperdino, and the entrance is around the other side. To get to the underground car park for it... carry on up the dual carriageway until you hit the roundabout at the port. Come back on yourself, and then you'll see the road splits. take the right hand fork, and you'll see some waste ground on your left, surrounded by metal sheets. Turn left at the end of that, and squeeze your car into the Car Park Entrance. Get your ticket stamped at the till, and you first hours parking is free. I think it's €6 you need to spend for that.

Hi everyone, we are going to Lazarote for the first time in June, staying near Playa Blanca. Can anyone tell me if there is a big supermarket nearby where we can get things like nappies for our baby. I don't want to take things with me if we can get them easily when we are there.
There are a number of large supermarkets in PB. There are the usual Netto's and Spar's (which are well equipped) plus a Hiperdino in the centre. All of the supermarkets will sell everything your baby will need!
Thank you

Hi Kedi, we are going to Playa Blanca in June too (next Thursday to be exact) and we are also taking a baby (5 months old) as well as 2 older children. Have a great time!
Look out for "Dodots" nappies when you are there. I am reliably informed that they are just like Pampers. I don't have kids myself, so can't comment much more about them than that.

I know this wasn't originally my post but thanks for the info Elle I'll be sure to look out for Dodots now, saves a load of space in the suitcase too!
You're more than welcome. Anything to make more space for more importants things like extra shoes and bikinis eh?!
