If passenger aircraft, they'll be Ilyushin 96's I would think. There are others with 4 engines, the smaller Ilyushin 76 / 86 and others with props. There's also the Antonov 124.

Thanks Darren,they are very very noisy and I read they were banned in Western Europe because of this!.

could even be the IL62? The 96's are not that noisy while the Il62 (2 rear mounted engines at each end) are sooo noisy yet rather elegant. Russian carriers still do fly them - albeit rather limited these days in western europe.....unless with hush kits.
