You can get beads, bangles etc. from the beach sellers but don't forget to haggle! As for flip-flops - they are fantastic! I SO love them! You can get them in the shops or the markets. I personally preferred the ones in the shops and they cost around £2.80 and are the most comfortable footwear I've ever had!

Yes you will get plenty of cosmetic jewellery. Just listen for the words "come and see my cheap rubbish" and you will know you are at the right place :rofl

I have been to Goa 6 times now, and I have boxes and boxes of the stuff LOL !!!

Each time I go I say that I won't buy too much, but there is such a variety and it is so cheap, I can't choose and therefore end up buying loads !!

I Love i t !! All my frinds have it now, as when I get home I realise that maybe I've over done it and give lots of it away as presents.

I agree with the flip flops, they are wonderful too, and the ones I have bought have always lasted aswell, apart from one pair, which must of been a one off as I bought my friend a pair exactly the same and they did not break.

if you're looking for something a bit more up-market than the stuff that the beachsellers have on offer, try Bombay Bazzar in Panjim.
They have some fancier items, obviously more expensive than you'd pay from a beach seller though.

They also do some stylish sandals in there, again more expensive than the beaded flip-flops on sale in many shops in Candolim but I've bought some lovely pairs over the last 3 or 4 years, including some silver toe-post sandals with a small heel and diamonte trim. Lots of people have asked where I bought them.
It's fixed price and you'll pay around 500 to 600 rupees per pair.
