Am going out on 15th April for a week, does anyone know if the swimming pool will be warm enough to swim in? Andy

Hi Andy, we went to the sirocco hotel on the 6th april last year for two weeks and not many people other than my husband and a few kids braved the pool but the weather hadn't been very good before we went and infact was terrible while we were there. Having said that the previous year at approx. the same time the weather was glorious. Hope you have a great time

Hi Andy,
We've stayed at the sirocco twice and have only booked a standard room, which we have found to be perfectly adequate and more than comfortable. I think the only difference with the superior rooms are bigger beds and a fridge. I did leave a hotel review after our last visit (Yvonne from Chigwell) We like the sirocco and think its good value for money and although I said in the review that the food was'nt as good last time ,it certainly wasn't was enought of a problem to stop us going again. If you have any other questions I'll be happy help Yvonne

Have all the rooms at the Sirocco been refurbished does anyone know please or would the Las Arenas be a better hotel which is in the better position

I have deleted your other post in this forum as you are asking the same question.
Again I've deleted a further post on this topic however I've added in the little extra you posted regarding the Las Arenas. Please do not duplicate posts.

Hi bejay
We've have stayed at the sirocco twice and each time requested the top floor with pool view and got precisely that. the rooms on the top (5th) floor have definately been refurbished and when we were there last year you were working on the ground floor but I don't know about the rest. The Sirocco is in a great position it's near all the local bars, five minutes from the 24hour square and about ten minutes from the marina. The las arena hotel is a bit further out but I did here good reports about it while we were there
