Both the Don Pablo and Don Pedro are non-smoking, but both have a smoking area. One is a very smokey TV lounge and the other is a quite nice conservatory, but I can't remember which is which. Don't know about the rooms, but I would guess that they could smoke on the balcony.

I don't know about these particular hotels, but most hotels in Spain are now non smoking in the dining rooms and lounges. Smoking is usually permitted in the bedrooms and definitely on the balconies. I was in a hotel at Christmas. There was a no smoking sign in the room but two ashtrays - one on the dressing table and one on the balcony The maid emptied the ashtrays each day and left clean ones

Same with some restaurants in Spain, signs saying No Smoking, then someone asks for an ashtray and one is given

Just got back from Don Pedro and there are smoking rooms in the hotels Don Pedro, Don Marko, Don Pablo, if you get a none smoking room you can smoke on the balconys also there are smoking rooms by the bars in each of the hotels. Temp last week was 21+ hope this helps. Regards Dennis
