milk is available in supermarkets full fat or half fat
Gordo or Meio Gordo but I have also seen some bizarre milk varieties in Modelo with all sorts of added and subtracted ingredients!
Yes, and there's also tap water, and electricity, and such....
I was only asking in case it tasted different and my little one wouldn't like it!
My wee boy didn't like some kinds. We tried several types and finally found one he did like though. Trial and error. Can't mind the name but they were in tall thin cartons with a screw top, blue for semi skimmed and green for full fat. An expat on here will be able to give the name no doubt.
Tara, Lummie
Most of the milk that is sold in the Algarve is UHT milk. Fresh milk can be bought with little trouble but you are as well to be aware that you will have to look for it. You can always try your little one on UHT at home before you come out to see if it goes down OK.
If you are staying in Albufeira, all the main supermarkets stock fresh milk, and most of the little ones too. Lummie's suggesion is called Vigor.
