Just got back from 5th trip, yesterday Sunday 24th Feb, and thought I would mention what was our best value meal at a restaurant this year. Took our favourite shacks owner and his family to Florentines in Saligoa, so six of us had:
2 x fried mussels starters
2 x squid starters (1 garlic & 1 masala)
1 x 1/4 chicken cafreal
3 x 1/2 chicken cafreal
1 x king prawn curry & rice
1 x pomfret fish curry & rice
1 x vegetable jeera rice
5 x bread
3 x ice cream
10 x 1/2 draft kingfisher beer
3 x treble romanof vodka
3 x diet pepsi
6 x fanta/limca
Total cost was less than 1400 rupees including approx 5% tip or around £3.00 per head.
