You can walk to Kaya from Hisaronu, it takes just over an hour and is very pleasant, we have done it every time we go on holiday there. You will receive a warm welcome when you get to Muzzy's Place (near the church), a cold drink, a swim in his lovely pool and an excellent meal before walking around the village. A wonderful relaxing place.
You could then either walk back or catch the hourly bus to Hisaronu/Fethiye.
There are some photos on this site:

and the walk has been posted on this forum

Cadianda and Xanthos are also interesting places to visit. Most of the tour operators in Hisaronu will organise a private trip to any historical site you want, well worth using their expertise.

Hi does anybody know if they do the all inclusive boat trips from oludeniz
Reply
do you mean the daily boat trips or week long trips
the daily trip costs about £8-10 pounds which includes your lunch bbq normally fish or chicken, salad and rice
drinks are extra and are paid for at the end of the trip
the true guilet cruises are fully inclusive i believe and go i think from fethiye or gocek

Hi
You can get plenty of boat trips rights from the beach at Olu, the problem here is that if the sea is rough it can be difficult to board as the gang plank flys up and down and its quite hard to stand at the waters edge.(OK if you are young and fit but I have seen more mature ladies having a problem). Other boat trips start at Fetihye and a coach will collect you.

There is a water taxi to Butterfly bay and you can even high your own speed boat.

Hi All,

just noticed you have mentioned kaya koy, there is a book out which tells you about the ghost town, its about the war in the 1800's between the turkish and greeks, a great read - very hard to get into but worth it.

its called BIRDS WITHOUT WINGS, bought my on the net - you can get it in hardback and paperback

enjoy
