olu deniz's beach is shingly the best beaches are in the lagoon, where they are sandy and have lovely views.

there are shops, bars, restaurants etc in olu deniz and hisaronu is only 5 mins in a dolmus with more shops, bars, restaurants , there is also a weekly market there with lots of designer copies.

lovely medium resort with fab scenery

Is it easy to walk to Hisaranou and approx how long would it take

I normally go to Icmeler and find this a nice size of resort. Is Hisaranou smaller than Icmeler?

you can walk to Hisaronu , but i wouldn't recommend it if you have children with you
Dolmus is easier and cheap

I have never walked it but I reckon from Ölüdeniz to Hisarönu 40 mins up-hill all the way( I would not fancy doing it in July or august). About 20 mins back.

i wouldnt recommend it, the rd is very steep and winding and im sure theres no paths some of the way. hisaronu and olu deniz are both smaller than icmeler, icmeler is a busier resort but in my opinion having been to both resorts a fair amount of times, olu deniz is more scenic and more compact

olu deniz is by the beach , hisaronu and ovacik are inland
