Hi,just started to plan our hols or next Jan,thinking of Thailand but unsure as to where?

Had a look at Koh Samui and a hotel called Samudra retreat near Chaweng it looks great but so do all the other places!

We would like somewhere with a great beach (obviously!) a good choice of restaurants a handful of bars and the option of going on some tours/excursions.

Any ideas would be great,thanks Mark.
