Hi we visit belek twice a year , while staying there last year my daughter and her family were staying in marmaris ,we had a notion to surprise her by visiting her for the day , but when we enquired about transport we were told that it would take the best part of a day to travel .There is no direct bus ,so you have to change busses quite often .It is 370 odd KM from marmaris to Antalya and 40 odd from Antalya to Belek ,a fair old trek ,we decided not to bother .Wish you luck

thanks bluepeterno1 yeah i know it will be one hell of a journey ive been told it will take about 7 hours from marmaris to antalya. but im in no hurry will be meeting up with family from the uk who do not arrive till the early hours of the morning so no rush ive got all day was really looking to know if its possible to get bus from antalya to belek or just get a taxi . gordon

when we were staying in antalya 2 years ago my mother came on a bus from marmaris to visit us, 1 bus took about 7 hours but on the return they found out there was a quicker bus and that was around 5 hours . i cant help you re belek, but as belek isnt far from antalya im sure that part of the journey will be easier to arrange you might have to change at antalya and wait a while or you could get a taxi from antalya to belek, someone that knows antalya area better might have a better idea

Hi gogs, can't help with Marmaris to Antalya, but Belek is half an hour or so from Antalya airport. So a little further from Antalya city centre. You should be able to get a dolmus no probs from the bus station (unless it is the middle of the night) - which is where the bus from Marmaris should stop. Taxi's are not expensive, just ask for a price.... Denny

hi denny53 thanks for info ive got price and times for marmaris to antalya 30 lira one way but i think i will arrive at about 11-30pm. im looking for cheapest and best way from antalya to pappilion aysha in belek as a rough price

That's really cheap isn't it for all those miles!!!!! We got a taxi from Antalya airport to Lara beach, which is about half the distance of Antalya bus station to Belek. That journey cost us 24 lira.
A lot of the taxi ranks have a board showing prices for lara beach, belek, side etc Sorry I can be more precise than that.
You could try PM to bryn ( a member on here - he posts on daily weather reports ) he lives in Antalya so he may know.
