probably somewhere in the med, don't think i could handle any more than 4 hours on a plane with my 2 kids
Main brochures for you will be 2nd to 3rd week of April then I think. Not too long to wait!

anyone have anymore ideas on dates for firstchoice/excplise ect coming out for summer 09 as we are at centre parcs week 14th April & don't want to miss out if they come out while we are away?

First choice on sale 17th April not sure about Eclipse they are usually a week later.

I found that when booking this years holiday, it worked out slightly cheaper for the last 2 weeks of school hols, don't know whether this is always the case as I've always gone in June or Sept in previous years. We go 16th August so back in time for the return to school but as I recall the price was around £100 cheaper overall.

Yes I have noticed that too! Also the very last week (which goes into sep). we have booked this week for a Number of years, always getting back the day before (or night in a couple of cases!), before son starts school!. That week can be a couple of hundred cheaper than the rest of the school hols!

when do the thomsons/portland brocures come out 
travel agent told me today that first choice hols come out for 2009 on april 17th
Twinton - No use waiting for Eclipse. They sent me a letter saying they will no longer exist next summer.......... Due to merger with Thomson they said. I imagine they just want everyone to book through First Choice. Shame though as you could usually knock a few pounds off by going through Eclipse website.
I'm not suprised. 
Although I have had many holidays booked with Eclipse, I have noticed for at least the last few months that the prices on the Eclipse web-site and First Choice web-site have been the same, so thought the Eclipse 'brand' would probably go as part of the merger.
