At last - after nearly 11 months since booking the day of our departure has finally arrived. Everything packed - weighed on the trusty bathroom scales - just under Thomson/s meager limit by my reckoning.

hopefully in about 19 hours we should be hitting the hell that is dabolim airport...looking for our driver hoping we can still recognise him and him us!...and heading off to unpack at the MD...

goodbye for two weeks to all who remain and I look forward to bumping into those of you who will be there at the same time as us..if you are at the MD and see a pale looking big fella with load of tattoos (but I am nice, polite and friendly) accompanied by a wife with very red hair (don't ask!) then please come and say hello...
