Just read the hotel reviews on the Ledra Beach Hotel and am really surprised as when we stayed 2 years ago it was superb - just goes to show how things chnage. Don't know where the annabelle Hotel is but all the hotels down the beach where the Ledra is look nice. You could try the Athena Royal Beach or the Riu Cypria Resort, these might suit you. Or why not stay with the wedding party in the Annabelle? I'm sure you will love Paphos.

Have a look at the Almyra hotel which is right next to the Annabelle and is also owned by the same company, I believe, along with the Anassa.
The Almyra has had some excellent reviews.

I'm surprised at the comments about the Ledra Beach hotel - a friend of mine was working there until recently and reckoned it was one of the best

Try the Alexander the Great or the Athena Beach.

It's a little further away from the Annabelle, but I have stayed there and been happy with it.

Have you checked out reviews for the hotels ? You can find them HERE

We stayed at the Louis Imperial Beach a couple of years ago and thought it very good. The rooms and grounds were lovely and the food and location excellent. One thing in particular I liked was that dinner could be substituted for lunch enabling us to enjoy the surrounding restuarants which were very good.

We didn't take the kids as it was a working holiday but I remember there being a large playroom with lots of toys ideal for toddlers.

We've just come back from the Alexander the Great. It is next door but one to the Annabelle. It is an excellent hotel and has just been refurbished.

The pool area and gardens are beautiful and overlook the sea. It is also a short walk from the harbour and there are plenty of excellent tavernas and more up-market restaurants in the immediate vicinity.

They have an excellent sun bed reservation system. At the start of your holiday you choose your sunbed and a tag is put on it with your room number. The sun bed is then yours for the duration of your stay so no getting up early to grab a bed and its there waiting for you if you go out for the day.

Athena Beach is lovely and the Imperial beach is also very nice. Both a good 20 mins stroll from Annabelle though. Athena Royal is an adult only hotel.
