I see that the BBC weather forecasters predict cloud over the next 5 days with tempeartures circa 68/74 F.
If anyone returns from Menorca, or more specifically, SE Menorca in the next few days, could you give a more accurate assessment?

Hi Abe go to http://www.menorca-net.co.uk. You can register for free and there is lots of info on menorca plus weather updates twice a day by Rose who lives there and many others.

Hi spoke to my friend who has an apartment in Cala en Bosch. She says there has been 2 bad storms in the last week but the weather is due to pick up at the end of this week. Dont worry it will be fine. Still better than here.
The 10 day forecast on MSN & uk.weather.com both look pretty decent.

Just got back tonight,the weather has been very unsettled.the worst day was wednesday when it rained most of the day.we were only there a week but yesterday and today when we left was very hot and sunny so maybe it is beginning at last to settle down.

We were there the same week as you but our 2nd week was cloudless with temperatures around the mid 80's with not a single cloud to be seen between 7.30am and 9pm.
Lucky you Abe,I guess i will just have to wait till next year for my good weather.

Well just an answer in general for this one.
The weather has been very unpredictable to previous years. A mild winter and the last couple of months hit and miss.
But in saying that the last few weeks have been incredible
Tempretures in the 30s each day and really early and late evening 24 plus!!
At the moment as we speak it is 30 degrees and not much sign that is going to change
Hope that has cheered up anyone coming over

Can anyone put my mind at rest that if i book a holiday for last week of may next year, im pretty likely to see some sun, went into travel agents today and was told by the girl that she went in may and barely saw any sun and it was cold, they never used pool or went to beach, she has put me right off.
Someone please tell me i should see some sun??!!

We got back yesterday, and it was hot when we left in the middle of the morning. We were there for a week, and didnt have one bad day, one morning was a bit overcast, but it was still hot, and the clouds had cleared by lunchtime. Average day time temp was mid 30,s and it dropped to about 25 in the evening (thank goodness for air-con :))
Have a fab time, and remember you are away from our horrendous early autumn!

Just can't decide whether to go to Menorca Friday. Weather does not look too good.
we are in calan bosch at the moment and have just had 3 really wet days - terrific thunder storms but no sun at all. last week was lovely but this week not good at all.
