ok Kath , sorry only jesting ...i will give you all a full run down when i come home on the 9th..(if i can remember anything) 
I have just returned from a two week holiday in Benidorm and we had wall to wall sunshine for 12 days and some days it was definitely in the 80's.
Me and 3 girlies are off for a few days on Thursday - weather looks rubbish and so is the Euro 
just returned today after 1 week , weather about 70 - 73 degrees every day exept tuesday , not too warm but just nice.

Got back from Beni yesterday afternoon, and can't believe how glorious the weather was in the 4 days we were there. I didnt expect to be lying on the beach and have a lovely tan!

Just back from beni from a four day break and the weather was glorious every day reading 24 degrees on the thermometer that i took lol and the euro was ranging between 122.5 and 124 on our departure

dont know where you have been looking but i can confirm that it has been very warm and sunny
nice to hear. have the weather(dot)com desktop thingy and seems to be hovering around 70 at peak whereas it was well into the mid and high 70's last month.
You can get a detailed forecast from Intellicast.com. Temps well above 70. Real time figures. 10 day forecast keeps changing so is reasonably kept well up to date.
I am leaving on monday (arriving tuesday)! Hope the weather changes!!!! Looks like the weather is pretty icky over the next few days.... can anyone let me know how the weather i there at the moment?
Tash, as I posted earlier I use Intellicast.com. It changes all the time. When I had it on last night there were an awful few days but by this morning it had changed to some cloud/80F. A couple of hours later it was again cr@p. Earlier this evening (Geordie time, I know you may not know what I mean), the weather had again reverted to half decent and back up to 80F by next Friday. I don't know about your weather people but it seems that the Spanish forecasters are as bad as the UK, ie they cannot predict what the next day is gonna be never mind a week or more in advance. Just do what we do in the toon, get up, look out of the window and prepare accordingly!
thank you eddieriff. LOL yes our weather seems to be the same here. I'm sure I will have a great time rain or shine : ) we are there for 2 weeks so surely I will get to see some sun. Tahnks for your help 
I hope you do get some sun Tash as I go on Saturday so will be there more or less the same time. It's my first time in Benidorm for 15 years.

You're not kidding, I'm watching the web cams at home in VERY SUNNY and HOT Newcastle. Flying to Benidorm on Saturday morning. Pal down the road in Gran Alacant is not offering much hope for a change!
Rain for Torrevieja region anyway at least until Monday bad thunderstorm last night. but then we need rain does not help those coming over on holiday though at least the farmers will be happy
