We would like to go to Sharm El Sheikh in April. Having checked availability there seems to be a massive choice of hotels. We would like a good hotel (at least 4 star) but we can't decide on the board basis. I've been to Luxor, and stayed in a nice hotel on BB. I recall that there wasn't a good choice of restaurants, and recall wishing that we may as well have booked HB or AI basis. Generally we prefer to eat out, in restaurants that good serve local fresh food (as opposed chips with everything). Can someone advise whether it's worth booking just BB basis? What sort of prices can we expect to pay for a nice authentic meal?
We've sort of narrowed our choices down to either the Novatel on BB basis, or the Marmara on AI basis.
Any advice would be much appreciated.
not really an authentic Egyptian experience. Plus there is a bit of a hassle factor. This isn't intended to put you off just more so that you know what you are looking at really
. I'm still kean on Sharm el Sheikh as I really want to do some snorkelling (havn't got the guts to go scuba diving).
. Think I will have to pop down to the local library and try and find a decent map of the area.
.
....so will definitely email the hotel and get them to pick us up.
