We went to Es Cana last Sept our 1st time away without the kids,as we usually go in August so we found it a bit quieter but everything is still open and quite busy.We found that daytimes tended to be busy but the nights were not as busy.I think it may be something to do with lots of older people and people with very young families being the main tourists at that time of year.I supppose these people tend not to go out very late. It felt strange for us after taking hols in peak season for the past 16 years to sit round a pool and not hear lots of kids shouting and splashing about

The waether was very good - we had one cloudy day out of a week and found the temperetures far more comfortable that when weve been in August, probably mid 70's.It did go a bit cooler at night but we could still sit outside the bars.

It will be a good place for a peaceful rest - if you can have such a thing with a young baby!!!

We have been to Es Cana 5 times now and would recommend it to families.Lots of bars cafes and restuarants but nothing too noisy
