Pippy ... take a look at Aer Lingus too. Fares will be a bit higher, but flight times may be more convenient, as they have a very early morning flight out of Dublin (6.40am) meaning less time to hang around the airport.

Thanks David.

Just waiting for another friend to get back to me as she may be able to come, making the number four in total.

I'll have a look at Aer Lingus now.

Ryanair David. Once I found out the airport is open all night I decided it wasn't worth the extra £40 or so between us for the earlier Aer Lingus flight.

Three return tickets cost us a total of £116inc. That's a 10.00 flight out and an 08.00 flight back the following morning.

Seems reasonable to me, although I've nothing to compare it with having never booked flights before!

It's not a bad deal Pippy. In fact the Aer Lingus fares weren't bad either, there is often a much bigger difference between them and Ryanair.

Phew!

I thought 'This is the point at which someone tells me I could have bought tickets for half that price'! ;)

I'm amazed how cheap they were, I'd no idea! No wonder so many people advocate DIY for their holidays!
