I looked at the Crete one for this summer, but plumped for Lykia World instead.

There is a thread on the Crete one in the Crete forum, but I'm not sure if anyone has been yet.

They do look lush though and I prefer the 'hassle free factor' of Greece over 'the hassle factor' you get in Turkey

Looks great. Just had alook at prices and it wouldn't cost us much more than what we are paying for a family of 5 this year.

Maybe I'm just not very sophisticated but I don't think I'd want to stay there.

I'd be so worried that I was gonna break something that I wouldn't be able to relax, either that or I would never be able to look at my own house in the same way again!

Same here Mark. Hubby & I just wouldn't be able to relax in somewhere so plush. We'd be on pins all the time - plus as you say - 3* money = 3*hotel

It looks beautiful. I wouldn't mind it but I priced it up for August (only time we can take holidays) and the price was way out of my league. almost £1700 per person - no thanks. Rather stick with the Rius in the Dom Rep for £1100.

I'm not overly fussed with having a fancy room and things in it to be honest. My holidays are not spent in my room. Although having said that, when I did stay in a 5* hotel in Marbella we did make use of the room service a bit. Still had no requirement for television or anything like that.

just priced up the crete hotel for next year and for my family its £500 more than the fab lykia world, so i think ill give that a miss would rather go to lykia world
