I would be interested to know this as well. We have never been to Dalyan, so rough directions would be appreciated too.

Stayed there for a week last year. Ate out every night in a different restaurant didnt have a bad meal in any off them.

Sorry didnt have a favourit one as they were all nice.

Try giving B.B.Q. garden a try..you can find it opposite Saffran restaurant also Bistro Clou in the market place ,(Basil Fawlty look alike is the chef) but all restaurants are of good quality,i'm in Dalyan this Friday and B.B.Q garden will be my first choice on Saturday.. WAKI xx

I would recomend you dine out in one of the places on the river as the view of the rock tombs is beautiful, there is plenty to choose from dont have a favorite as all nice.
When we are not very hungry we go to the Lokanta (Turkish cafe) opposite the childrens play ground, you just go in point to what you fancy, really nice food, staff great (as per usual)
Dalyan is a loverly place, nice walks along the river very picturesque. We tend to go to the quiet beach just jump the dolmus by the Mosque.
I would recomend the evening boat trip, leaves around 5.30, take you to the ruins of of Kaunos, then off along the river past the tombs, then out into the lake were you stop and have a meal, gorgeous food, drinks extra, we had a great time.
We are going out in June and Sept, cant wait.

Joan..you made me chuckle when you said "when you are not very hungry" i had thoughts that they dont give you much on your plate
Sioux, as Joan says you must try some of the restaurants overlooking the tombs, "CARETTA CARETTA" is a good one, i am also there again on 13th JUNE for 10 days... WAKIxx
