I've seen a couple of different cruises I'd quite like to go on but I only have 8 days and cannot get the extra days to stay on the cruise until the end. Provided I pay my onboard account on the day I want to go, is there any way the cruise line can prevent me leaving early ?

After all, if I've paid for the cruise in full then it should be ok to leave the cruise early if I want shouldn't it ?
