Evening all
I want to try and have a holiday this year but thanks to the credit crunch that is making us all have a little (or lots in my case) less cash.
We are a family of 5 (2 adults and 3 children - all under 12 and over 3) and having never been to spain, we thought we would like to try it out.
We have been with first choice for the last few years on all inclusive but am wondering would it be best to try other more cheaper ways this year?
We are not too fussed about quality as long as beds are available and no cockroaches try and eat us in the evening! What we want is Sun, beach and fun for our kids and somewhere where I can drink cheap beer!
Please could someone recommend some holidays/web sites we could try and if we should be looking at AI or Self catering (bearing in mind we will be on a major short budget!)
The best way to get a good price is to be as flexiable as possible and be able to fly from a few different airports.
Sc should be cheaper for you as most hotels don`t have 5 beded rooms. Benidorm has lots of bars so you can still get meals and drinks for good prices. Beni beach, Avenida Apartments and Europa gardens all do 2 bedroomed apartments. This may not always be the case as some of the aparthotels are now offering all inclusive.
What sort of price are you trying to stick to, I know it`s a hard question to answer but what might be a budget to you might be an expensive holiday to someone else, or if you have priced something and your looking for a cheaper option let us know.
What dates are you looking at? My only concern is that you may well have left it too late to get bargain prices for this year as I actually booked flights last August for this July and the prices have now more than doubled.
Try looking on travel republic site as they seem to be one of the cheapest
