I am considering booking a holiday in August for myself and my 11 year old daughter.
Not sure whether to do Benidorm or Majorca...I have found a reasonable deal on the Sol Magaluf Park but am concerned it might be just a bit TOO lively in Magaluf in August.
I want lively, but not so lively people are waking me up in the middle of the night if you get my drift
Can anyone tell me if its suitable for a 40 something widowed mum and 11 year old daughter or would somewhere a little more sedate be better for us?
Thanks in advance :-)
I have been to both Benidorm ( last Year) and loads of times to Magaluf, Even stayed in the Magaluf Park in March this year.
Although Magaluf can be rowdy , you can also find lots of good bars with entertainment on eg: Manos , jokers, Fountain.
I found Benidorm Too noisy for me and that was in May,.
I much prefer magaluf
hia we to liked benidorm and i took me missus and a 16yr old to magaluf last year at the end of july and she insisted we book again we had a great time last year i dont no if its me but it seems a bit more relaxed in magaluf. the square behind the bcm nightclub is buzzing everynight with free entertainment (hypnotist, dancers and acrobats) outside till midnight, and you will also be entertained by the fancy dressess of all the stags an hens. like mags says manos is very good. oh an the 17 yr old wants to come with us again !
I went to Benidorm in December, and had a lovely break, but there we always felt we had to be on our guard on the streets with so many beggars and Gypsies on the streets, which you simply do not get in Magalluf. The PR's in Magalluf have definitely been banned, and walking the streets, both day and night is a much more pleasant and relaxed affair, in my opinion.
Cheers
Adam
