Under the Package and Travel Regulations (P&TR) I believe that a tour operator is liable in law for any failure or negligence of its subcontractors.
I've also noted elsewhere that "negligence" is judged by our standards in the UK, not those where the incident took place. But looking at the P&TR I can't seem to pin-point where exactly it says this. Can anyone help please?
If you can advise on how you believe the operator has been negligent, I may be able to advise further
