Hi Guy's,
Were off to sunny beach again this year for 3 weeks on the 13th August really looking forward to it. This year my mom inlaw who is traveling with us will have a birthday while we are there, was wondering is there a such thing as a bakery shop were we could get a birthday cake. I Don't recall seeing one last year or the year before . We are staying in family apartment and to be honest I wouldn't have the bakery skills to bake one :rofl. Any help is appreciated . Roll on 13 aug
Clare.
If you can't find a sladkarnitsa (cake/dessert shop) in Sunny Beach, you would almost certainly find one in Nesebar/Sveti Vlas/Burgas or I suspect that if you ask in any of the Sunny Beach restaurants, they'll be more than happy to organise a Birthday Cake (torta za rozhden den) for you.

Hi - we had a birthday last year in our party and we got a lovely cake but I can't remember if it came from the bar we were in (Red Lion) or whether they asked the hotel staff to arrange it. I will see if I can find out for you. It wan't a birthday cake like we have because it was covered with the kind of cream stuff but it was delicious. Though it was a bit like the ones you used to get when you were a kid before the yucky fondant icing came in because it had the chopped nuts round the side.

These are some of the types of torta produced by my favourite sladkarnitsa in Varna .

Hi yes. Have found out that we ordered the cake from the hotel (Polyusi). Hope that helps. I'm sure your hotel will do the same.
Once again Baldur thanks for your help and you too alison. have to admit Baldur i'm trying to loose abit of weight too before the hols. but at the end of the day once I get there that will go out the window and the Jack Daniels and food will take the place of starvation lol :rofl.
Thanks Baldur hahaahhaahhaha
As the Dilait sladkarnitsa image which I posted above says, 'öøòþтът e ÑÂÂûðôъú!' (life is sweet!)....
