Hi, Can anyone give me any info on Rethymnon,we are a family of 4 with 2 kids who will be 14 & 11, we were thinkng of malia or stalis, but after reading a lot of reports, I think it might be a bit mad for us, the quad bikes seem to be a worrying factor ! We do like a lively area, with a self-catering hotel/appartment with a nice pool, & within walking distance to the main resort & near to the beach, with lots of bars & restuarants.
Is Rethymnon quite a busy resort, with lots for kids to do crazy golf etc... Also if anyone can recommend central hotels that would be great .
