Anyone recomend things to do when It's raining in Alcudia. We go for a week on saturday and it looks like rain for most of the week!
I know theres the market on sunday but is there anything else suitable?
Thanks.
There is a good local bus service to Puerto Pollensa, Cala san Vicente and Palma. Otherwise its eating and drinking!!!!! CBG
I could say go karting, horse-riding, visit to the Roman town, but if it's really tipping down then none of these are much of an option. In truth there is not a lot in Alcudia itself if the weather is lousy. Indoor excursions are more a thing for the south, like the Palma Aquarium or the House of Katmandu in Magaluf. But it may be you're worrying unduly. Some forecasts may be showing cloud or rain but they can often show these, but they are not always that accurate. The current weather is fine. The local weather boys say it might rain this coming weekend but they cannot be certain, so if they can't be I don't see how these so-called forecasts can be any more so. This said, the weather has been poor. Palma has so far registered over four times more than the monthly average. By the way, the market takes place on both Tuesday and Sunday. Just hope it's good for you.
cheers folks
Hi, myself my husband and our 2 children are also going to alcudia on tues 27th may. This will be my childrens first holiday abroad i have told them we will be on the beach and swimming in the pool. I have been checking the weather and it looks like rain all week. I can't believe it they will be so upset. I don't know what clothes to bring now either we got shorts packed ! I have been told that this time of year is usually nice.
I am going out to santa ponsa on june 19th for a fortnight, and i am beginning to worry about what the weather will be like then. I keep waiting for it to improve but it doesnt seem to be happening.
Hope you have a good holiday and the weather gets better.
I'm just hoping that in between the rain it's lovely sunshine!
If you get to Campenet on the bus, there are some lovely caves which are all underground and worth a visit. Like the ones at porto christo but without being so developed.
