It rained like crazy last year round Easter time, mostly at night though, however good Friday
Go onto you tube and type Good friday rain, it doesn`t seem to want to link here.

With just 4 weeks to GOa I looked on BBC world weather and it forcasts rain in Goa - SURELY NOT this early! do I need to pack a pac-a-mac?? :yikes
It rained March 08 for 3 days, unheard of they all said!!! apart from the March before 07 when it also rained whilst we were there.
The weather forecast has been changing daily, saying thunderstorms Thurs, Fri, Sat Sun but it keeps changing twice daily.
We became experts at restaurants with roofs, but fingers crossed for this year
We went March 16th last year and for the first time in four years of us going it rained for a whole day near the end of our second week.

last year on Holi the 22nd of March the rain was wild ...but it was great fun
Just had a phone call from Ali our jeweller friend he said the weather is warm and sunny
with a little cloud and no sign of rain

"Ali the Jeweller" is clearly not in touch with the Met Office then.
Bombay has had storms for two days now, BBC World weather has been forecasting it for Goa since Weds, and if you go to Weather Underground at the top of the index page of this very forum, you will see that rain and thunderstorms are forecast for the next three days.
On the other hand, Ali says no sign of rain...............................

Ali was not forecasting, he was stating a fact, so why the sarcasm "again"
Where is it...........eight o'clock gone a still no rain.......a beautiful clear sky this evening, not even a rumble of thunder in the far distant
Hot and sunny 37c on the beach today with a strong breeze but I nearly broke out in a sweat at sundown, somebody claimed the shack had run out of Honey Bee but they were only joking, I think they must work for the UK weather disservice

Aarond I like the sound of Ali's prediction, as we arrive there on sunday I dont care if it snows
I think Ali is probably happy as a jeweller and not interested in a job with the Met.But if he says its sunny in Goa where he is, I'm sure it is.
If it rains in the next day or two hopefully it will be similar to what I experienced - heavy, short bursts, and lots of sun inbetween.
Just head for a restaurant undercover in the evenings.

Hey, so what if it rains? (as long as it's not for too long!)
1. It will be warm rain
2. I wont be in the miserable UK
3. I wont be at work
4. I wont have any housework
5. I will be with lovely people having wonderful food and a good time

Just a quick update on the north Gao weather
It has been sunny and warm (37/40c) all week with absolutely on sign of rain
And the weather people wondered why nobody believed them when they forecast snow in the UK earlier this year
