That's very clever Luci working statutory holidays for an extra day, I did'nt know you could do that. My work is very strict though so I don't think they'd allow that, folk would abuse it.

Where about in Russia did you go? My son is just back from Moscow said it was awesome, mind you I think he was boozed up the whole time (Man U supporter!!)

Just tacking some questions on.
Have been to vegas a few times but never when the pools are open :que
This time plan on making good use of them.

Am booking to go next week - yes all a bit last minute but really need a break and vegas is vegas :tup

Mgm TI and Mirage are all about the same price, a little more for planet hollywood or mandalay bay.
Any recommendations?

The Wynn isnt much more, is it worth the few extra to stay there? Whats the pool area like?
Last time I was there it was about a month before it opened. Love the location but not sure if it would be worth the extra.

Have preiously stayed at the sahara, Mirage, nyny and aladdin before before it went hollywood. Prefer somewhere nicer than the sahara(although for the 20quid I night I paid it was great), didnt like nyny, loved the mirage (I think its the smell) but its being renvated? and loved the aladdin.

Thanks

Hi and welcome to HT!

If the pool is the most important thing then I'd suggest the MGM as they have several pools and a lazy river, although they were extremely busy when we were there in May.

Otherwise I would personally choose the Wynn if it's not much more than the rest purely because it is 5 star and is relatively new as it opened on 28 April 2005, the day we came home. I don't know anything about their pool however and would check reviews on Trip Advisor for that.

Jaqs,

you're in for a BIG shock if you think Wynne is only a little more expensive than MGM, Mirage etc!! :really

I'd say in general it's 3 to 4 times more expensive than MGM - you can pick up a very nice room in MGM for around $80 a night, in the Wynne you're looking at $300 plus per night. You rarely see any good deals for Wynne.

Mirage is more expensive than TI and MGM normally but it's a lovely place (if you don't want to use the pool area, which is too packed). MGM is definitely the best for Pool areas.

Cheers,

TC

Really the price I have for the wynn for the week is about 150more, its a lot less than the bellagio or caesers, hence considering it as thought it would always be out of my price range.

Thanks for the review links. Used to post here eons ago but ta for welcome :)
